Katelyn Cartwright, Hernando is ranked number five among returning Cross Country runners. She is the returning Gatorade Cross Country Athlete of the year for Mississippi and the State Champion in Class 6A Cross Country. Her being number five in time does not indicate her impact on Mississippi Cross Country last year.
This year she should have an even bigger impact as a returning Senior. I look for her to bring a lot to the state as a runner and with her team. Her team is ranked number four in Class 6A preseason.
