Important Notes:
Entries for district must be made on the www.milesplit.com website.
Entry Fee: $6.00 per athlete
Schools that do not meet April 12, 2015 the deadline will be fined $100.00.
Top 4 finishers of each preliminary heat will advance to the final Heat. (Not time based)
Four participants from each event will qualify for regional meet.
Each competitor shall receive 3 preliminary trails with the competitors qualifying for the finals receiving 3 additional trails. The number of competitors to qualify for the finals shall be one more than the number of scoring places, i.e. if 6 places score, there will be 7 finalists. In the finals the order of competition shall be in the reverse order of the best performance in the preliminaries, so that the best qualifier will compete last.
Please park your buses behind the stands on the West side of the field.

Warm - ups will be on the band practice field behind the Westside of the stadium. Only coaches will be allowed on the East side of the Stadium. NO coaches or players will be allowed on the field, in the check in area or near the scorers tent. DO NOT use the gates at the bottom of the stadium that boarder the track for any reason before or during the track meet.

COACHES INFORMATION SHEET
Scoring: Events 10, 8, 6,4,2,1 Relays 10,8,6,4.

The No False Start Rule will be in effect.

NO JEWELRY!!! This will be the coaches responsibility!

The top four (4) from each times in all preliminary race event will qualify for the finals!!!

An automatic timing device will be used in all races. Athletes may be recalled at the start if the timing device does not start!!!

Athletes are to warm-up on the field behind the stadium. On the first call athletes are to report to the Clerk of the track through the gate at the end of the stadium. Athletes that do not report will be scratched. Athletes are to move out of the infield-fenced area at the completion of their event.

NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE INFIELD FENCED AREA EXCEPT COACHES AND ATHLETES PARTICIPATING AT THE TIME. ALL COACHES MUST STAY IN THE DESIGNATED COACHES AREA LOCATED NEAR THE FINISH LINE AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE FIELD EVENTS AND DURING THE TRACK EVENTS.

Each competitor must compete in a proper school issued uniform (Rule 4 - 3). In relay races each team member shall wear the same color and design school uniform. When other apparel is worn under the uniform in relays, it shall be of the same color for all teammates choosing to wear them.

After completing a race athletes are to remain in their lanes and walk back and stay at the finish line until released by meet personnel.

Spikes: 1/8" or 3/16 ONLY! High jump shoe rear spikes for jumping foot only may have a maximum length of 1/4"! Spikes may be purchased for .15 each.

Starting Blocks will be provided! Schools will not be allowed to use their own blocks!

The stands are for coaches and spectators only.

Competitors competing in the vault must turn in a signed Pole Vault Confirmation Form to the Pole Vault Judge in order to compete!

Coaches with a team in the relays must turn in a Relay Entry Confirmation Sheet to the clerk of the course. Any changes made during the meet must be made on the confirmation sheet prior to the end of the meet.

MARKING MATERIALS OF ANY KIND (TAPE, CHALK, ETC.) ARE NOT TO BE USED OR PLACED ON THE TRACK, RUNWAYS, OR HIGH JUMP APRON! MARKERS FOR STEPS AND RELAY EXCHANGES WILL BE FURNISHED!
