MCC RELAY INVITATIONAL

Entry Procedure: This is a closed meet. Only invited teams can enter. Entries will be done through ms.milesplit.com. No faxed, emailed or phone entries will be accepted.

Entry Deadline: Wednesday, April 8 by 12:00 p.m.
Entry Fee: There is no entry fee for this meet.
Unattached Entries: Limited unattached entries will be considered. For consideration, entries should be emailed to Chip Gayden (hgayden@meridiancc.edu) by Tuesday, April 7 by 12:00 p.m. Accepted entries will be notified by Thursday, April 9.
Spikes: The only acceptable spikes are inch pyramid spikes and 3/8 recessed pyramids will be permitted for the high jump.
Field Events: The high jump will be contested inside the oval of the track on the north end of the track. The long jump and triple jump will be contested outside of the track, with the runway beginning at the North part of the stadium with the pit at the south end.
Packet Pick-Up: Coaches must pick their packet up between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday on the infield. Wristbands for the athletes and 4 addition wristbands for coaches and support staff per gender will be included in the packets. Athletes and coaches will not be permitted to access the infield without a wristband.
Meet Admission: Athletes and Coaches: Enter the south turn of the track by presenting your wristband.
Spectators: Enter the south side of the track next to Thornton Hall. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children aged 12 and under.

Time Schedule: A final schedule will be in your packet and emailed to coaches of participating teams on Thursday, April 9
Scoring: This meet will be scored. Individual events will be scored 5-3-2-1. Relay scoring will be 5-3-0
Pre Meet Practice: Meridian CC Track will be available for team practice from 4:30 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10.
Warm Ups: The infield of the track will be available for warm-ups. Field event athletes will have access to their respective event sites 45 minutes prior to competition.
Coaching Access: Field event coaches will have access to designated coaching boxes at their respective events during the competition.
Heat Sheets: Heat Sheets will be in your packet at check-in and will also be emailed to respective teams on Thursday, April 9.
Team Areas: Team Areas can be set-up on the north end of the stadium on the outside of the track.
Trainers: MCC Trainers will be available throughout the meet. They will oversee any injuries sustained in the meet, but are not responsible for general taping of ankles prior to the meet.
Results: Final results will be available after the meet from the meet director and will be posted online.
