Where are they going. Tavyn Lovitt Madison-Ridgeland

MSTrack: Why did you decide to go to Ole Miss?
 
Tavyn:Ole Miss has the most complete program to help me be the best runner and student I can be and competing in the SEC is an honor. 
 
MSTrack: What do you plan to study at Ole Miss?
 
Tavyn: I plan to Major in Education so that I can teach at the High School level and coach crosscountry.
 
MSTrack: We know that you attend Madison-Ridgeland Academy what else do you do besides Crosscountry and Track?
 
Tavyn:In addition to cross country and track, I am on the dance team and I am the point guard on our basketball team. This year I was electedHomecoming Queen. 
 
MSTrack: What type of grades do you have and have you taken the ACT yet?
 
Tavyn:My current GPA is 3.70 and my latest ACT score is a 23. I plan to continue taking the ACT everytime it's offered to raise that score.
 
MSTrack: What do  you do outside of school?
 
Tavyn: I attend Highland Colony Baptist Church where I volunteer in their Pre-School program. I also help out at the Flowood YMCA and the Webster Animal Shelter.
 
MSTrack: What are you goals for track in the future?
 
Tavyn: My goal is to train and compete in steeple chase, which I have never done. I also want to compete in the events at longer distances. This year I would like to get my 2 mile time to an 11:00 or better.
