In 2016 Austin Bourne, Brandon finished 2nd here in 2016 in 16:59 over the shorter course. The next year in 2017 he won the meet in 18:12 when it was just over 5K. This year he made it two wins in a row running 17:31.97 and the course was measured correct at 5K. This time is not that bad considering the tight turns and hill that make up the Clarkdale course now.
Olivia Pitts, Petal won the varsity girls race in 21:49 to set her personal record beating Emma Claire James, West Lauderdale by 26 seconds.
Kolby Sessions, Brandon won the JV Boys 5K race in 21:14 to lead a Brandon 1st through 6th sweep.
Samantha Moore, Brandon won the JV Girls 5K Race in 27:28 keep it a Brandon sweep of first place in the JV race.
Eli Waters, Petal won the Middle School Boys 4K in 16:23.
Katelyn Dickinson, Petal won the Middle School Girls 4K in to keep the first place sweep for Petal in the middle school division 19:30.
