Lina May, Vancleave Wow Nice 3200 Meters

The 3200 meters for girls has to be one of the most interesting races of this track and field season. It seems that two people so far are swapping the lead and neither keeps the lead very long. Lina May, Vancleave took over the lead at the Long Beach Invitational Track Meet running a fine 11:00.45. She took the lead back from Brooklyn Biancamano, Long Beach who had the best time from the week before. Brooklyn had a small muscle pull and did not compete in this meet.

If they both had been in the race who knows what time would have been run. Lina's time is number five on the all time Mississippi MileSplit ranking.

We have a third 3200 meter runner who had not be really heard from this year and that if Morgan Claire Rose, Kirk Academy. Morgan Claire ran her first 3200 meter of the season at the MRA Track Classic and ran 11:16.64 for the third best time this season. She has a 10:43.85 run at the Texas Relays last season. It would be great if all three of the athletes could tie up in one race for all the marbles and bragging rights.
