Golden South Stud Alert: KaTia Seymour

Palatka (FL) High School's KaTia Seymour is among the standouts who have signed up to compete at Flo Golden South on Saturday at the National Training Center in Clermont, FL. As a four-time individual Florida state champion, she is no stranger to big meets.

Along with holding two state crowns apiece in the 100m and 200m, Seymour, an FSU signee, was the 2016 Great Southwest Classic 100m and 200m champion. She owns all-conditions PRs of 11.26 in the 100m and 22.89 in the 200m. This year, she holds the sixth-fastest 100m dash time in the country with her 11.44 (-0.1) from the FHSAA 2A Region 2 meet and the fifth-fastest time in the 200m with her 23.37 (+1.6) from the Bob Hayes Invitational.

Think you can run with KaTia Seymour? Register now for Flo Golden South to try and nab that Brooks PR golden ticket. Winners in the 100m dash will have an all-expenses trip to compete at Brooks PR on June 17, 2017, at Shoreline Stadium in Seattle, Washington.

(Registration closes Thursday, May 25, at 11:59 PM EST)
