Upcoming Series Scott Kendricks on Pole Vaulting

For those who might not know Scott Kendricks he is the Coach of Sam Kendricks currently one of the top vaulters in the world. Scott coached at Oxford High School for a long time. Sam graduated from Oxford High School where he was coached by his dad Sam. Sam and Scott then moved to Ole Miss where Scott won the SEC and the NCAA Pole Vault championships. Currently Scott and Sam are in Europe where Sam will vault in several meets in preparation for the IAAF World Championships. Sam has won the 2014 and 2015 National Track and Field Championships and has a personal best of 19'2.5". While at Oxford High School he set the MHSAA best record at 17'0".

This series should be a help both to the athlete and coach. However you will have to be a Milesplit Insider to view this series.

Here is a youtube video of the Sam Kendricks 18' challenge. The challenge requires the athlete to clear 18 feet, 5 times in less than 30 mins. Think about clearing 18' one time is great but 5 times in less than 30 mins is fantastic.
