1. The first year that there were 12 different schools winning championships.
2. The number of "upset" wins by teams that were not at the top of the list was up.
3. In the boys 5K this year Mississippi has 7, 079 rankings.
4. In the girls 5K this year Mississippi had 4,900 rankings.
5. In the middle school boys 3200 meters 332 rankings.
6. In the middle school girls 3200 meters 309 rankings.
7. There are probably a number of duplicates but it shows that the state had over 11,000 cross country runners in MHSAA, MAIS and Homeschool Teams.
8. Finally Mississippi Milesplit now has State Meet results starting with 2001 through 2014. Working on getting 2000 formatted so that we can add it too the rankings.
